Oh Bethlehem Land of Judea,

Surrounded by Settlements from all sides,

Yet you keep all your beauty.

Your light radiates throughout the world,

 Awakens it, despite the darkness that envelops it.

Yes, you convey to the world:

« Don’t touch my little creatures;

They resemble me, they ARE me. »

We, the newly born of Bethlehem,

We come to the world full of hope,

To renew the message of deep Love

And brotherhood that baby Jesus

 Brought us a long time ago.

Unfortunately many amongst us

Are rejected even before being born.

By coming to the world we open our eyes

With an intense need of a presence:

The presence of a father and a mother.

 But, why this lack of presence?

Yet, from the deepest of our hearts, hope springs up:

We little children of Bethlehem,

 We are not alone.

We are comforted by the support and love

                                          That comes from all around us.                                        

 This immense love does not have limits or boundaries

And is our only source of Joy!
